Bio

I am a storyteller and passionate photographer.

For 33 years I was a journalist and recorder of everyday history at several community newspapers in South Africa. I am currently a sub-editor at a major South African media group.

I aim to create a better world by uplifting weary and hurt humanity with simple words of healing!

Why am I writing?

The first waking moment of the morning is the place where they live.

#StorySeeds slowly grow in my soul to become a lesson for myself before I write it down for mankind. 

This is not inspiration or daydreaming. It is growth, a memory of what was said to me or what really happened in my life.

I always felt out of place and awkward because of these story seeds growing in me, popping up at the strangest times (especially when I think I am going to sleep a bit longer).

In the silence of my soul, I can hear their voices, crying to be released.
